Information for Presenters / Chairs

 

Please find below useful information concerning your participation at the 35th Ecis congress.  Due to the current public health situation, travel restrictions are changing frequently. Most European countries have travel restrictions in place including: submitting a Passenger Locator Form (PLF),and testing requirements for travelers or vaccination certificates or certificates of recovery from the virus. Before you fly, you must check the entry restrictions at your destination on a regular basis.  

You will find 2 kinds of guidelines : 

 

1. For entering Greece the protocols are:  (*updated 16/7/2021)

Quarantine: Not Required

Test or Vaccine REQUIRED **

Forms of Applications REQUIRED It is compulsory for all passengers on international flights to fill in and submit electronically the Passenger Locator Form at least 24 hours before traveling. (https://travel.gov.gr/#/user/login) & (https://travel.gov.gr/#/).

 

Test or Vaccine REQUIRED **   (can be different depending the country you may arrived from, check the links at the end of the email)

 

A. Display a negative molecular test (PCR) for COVID-19 (performed by taking Oropharyngeal or nasopharyngeal smear) up to 72 hours before the scheduled arrival Or a negative forty-eight-(48) hour diagnostic Rapid Antigen Test for Covid-19 (Rapid Test) prior to scheduled arrival of the flight.

 

or

B. Hold a certificate of vaccination (The certificate must be in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, language, issued by a Public authority, provided that the vaccination was completed at least 14 days before arrival to Greece.)

C. By holding EU digital COVID certificate issued accordingly to EU requirements in digital or paper form with one of the following conditions:

Having completed the vaccination for COVID-19 with any of the E.U. approved vaccine, providing that the last dose has been completed at least 14 days before scheduled arrival in Greece.

Having tested negative with a Covid-19 molecular PCR or Antigen test (performed by taking oropharyngeal or nasopharyngeal smear, up to 72 hours before the scheduled arrival).

Having recovered from COVID-19 disease, valid for at least 30 days and at most 180 days after the initial positive result.

2. For Entering the Conference venue rooms are: (updated until  31/8/2021)

 

•  Hold a certificate of vaccination
 

or


• Display a negative molecular test (PCR) for COVID-19 (performed by taking Oropharyngeal or nasopharyngeal smear) up to 72 hours before or a negative forty-eight-(48) hour diagnostic Rapid Antigen Test for Covid-19 (Rapid Test)

 

or


• Hold an EU digital COVID certificate issued according to EU requirements in digital or paper form with one of the following conditions:
1. Having completed the vaccination for COVID-19 with any of the E.U. approved vaccine, providing that the last dose has been completed at least 14 days before scheduled arrival in Greece.
2. Having be tested negative with a Covid-19 molecular PCR or Antigen test (performed by taking oropharyngeal or nasopharyngeal smear, up to 72 hours before the scheduled arrival).
3. Having recovered from COVID-19 disease, valid for at least 30 days and at most 180 days after the initial positive result.
There is limitation in the number of participants per room per sqm. All chairs will have 1.5-meter empty space between them. According to the Health Protocol that apply up-to-day and until 31/8/2021* maximum capacity per room is imposed.
During the Plenary lectures all Rooms will operate with parallel transmission.
The use of a face mask is mandatory for all participants in the conference venue.
All participants must scan their electronic badge when entering or exiting Auditoriums.
