Call for Abstracts
As you may know, the ECIS conference was initially scheduled to be held in 2020 but the COVID-19 pandemic forced us to postpone it for September 2021. Taking into consideration the major difficulties that humanity suffered by the pandemic, limiting travels and meetings, we offer the possibility to participate to the conference either physically or digitally.
Attendees that will choose a digital participation will have online and interactive access to all sessions presenting their work either as an oral or a poster, keep networking and having discussions.
That is why, the organizing committee is working hard currently to provide the audience with a highly interactive edition and full of networking opportunities: break/chat rooms dedicated to the speakers in order to extend the Q&A and several activities will be prepared to facilitate the networking between participants. In addition, a welcome desk with a staff member will be available for audio-video support during the whole conference and all live speakers will be contacted before the conference in order to run a quick technical test. The main target is to provide to all the digital audience with a high-quality program but also a unique experience and the best conditions to get the most out of the meeting.
Attendees that will choose a physical participation will hopefully have all the usual benefits. (if the pandemic situation will not eventually give us that opportunity ) they can switch the participation to digital with the right of reimbursement.
In this context, we would like to invite you to submit an abstract to the 35th Conference of the European Colloid and Interface Society (ECIS).
In order to submit your abstract, it is obligatory to complete your registration first,
by using login/password details, of course it is not obligate to pay in advance.
When you proceed to the registration process form , you can choose:
either to choose payment by bank transfer – payment between June 15 to June 22/
or to choose to full payment by credit card.
• Oral presentation
If selected for an oral presentation, you will be given a timeslot of 20 minutes during one of the parallel sessions (15min presentation, 5min Q&A).
• Poster presentation
We organize 2 dedicated posters sessions.

• Abstract submission deadline for oral presentations: extended 16 May 2021
• Abstract submission deadline for poster presentations: extended 10 June 2021
• Notification of abstract status: June 15, 2021
Instructions for submitting
Please use our online form to submit your abstract, indicating your preference for your presentation type (oral or poster). You should select the topic or the special session that best suits your abstract. You can download the abstract template by clicking here. Please read the manual as well as the general guidelines given, carefully in order to use the template correctly. Abstracts that do not meet the requirements of the template, will not be taken into consideration.

After completing your registration, you will receive by e-mail the following instructions.

manage your registration information and view all the details about the event.)
